My Story

I am a creator and connector of dots.

My career in Sales eventually led to and merged with my career in Marketing. After recruiting creative talent for agencies and brands, I was recruited by an agency client to run their Business Development operation. One year later, I was made the Managing Partner.

We worked with brands from Fortune 100 to Regional in size and it was here that I got to sink my teeth in all things Branding and Marketing. I learned that a brand isn’t some esoteric ideal. It’s real. It breathes. It speaks, even when you don’t and it drives the market’s opinions of your company. Furthermore, I learned that engaging in Marketing tactics without a focused brand strategy is like putting regular gasoline in a Lamborghini; you’ll go, but you’ll never perform optimally.

While at my agency, I decided it was time for me to invest my experience and talent into companies of my own. So, I did. I began with a menswear company who started winning consumer-voted awards before we even began making clothes. Mere months later, we were in DCEO Magazine as one of the top five clothiers in the metroplex, sharing the pages with industry juggernauts that had been at it for more than 20 years.

Then, I began a company that pressure washed trash and recycle bins. Five months later, we had the largest fleet of our kind in the country. Today, we serve some of the largest retail companies in the world in our Commercial Division.

Here we are going into 2020 and I have a holding company whose portfolio is six companies deep and we will surely add more in the new year.

I consider myself blessed to have found my calling. The list of things I’m good at is likely shorter than most, but I think my clients and contacts would tell you that Business, Branding and Marketing and Business Development are on it. I have leveraged my skill set and experience to create companies that I love and support others along the way.

When it’s all said and done, I want the work that I do to have a lasting impact on the clients and people I meet along my journey. I love what I do and I would be honored to serve you.

Achievements
  • Won consumer-voted award of Best Menswear company before we began making clothes
  • Was listed as one of the Top 5 Menswear companies in Dallas within a year of our launch
  • Had the largest fleet of our kind five months into our trash bin and pressure washing business
  • Created a brand for a client that helped sell a body spray into the world’s largest retailer before they had a product to share
  • Have taken our holding company from $0 to nearly $7mm in our first calendar year
  • After seeing much success, domestically, for a global haircare client, traveled to London to pitch their brand team, eventually beating out two of the largest agencies in the world for numerous projects
  • Helped a consulting client (a Marketing agency) close the corporate arm of a national pizza franchise along with other great clients
  • Thanks to the success we had, was hired as a consultant to run Business Development for a client and made Managing Partner within a year
  • Served as a Board Member for Texas Association of Business
  • Served as Marketing Chair of Music & Memories
  • Served on several Advisory Boards
